AutoStore
Autostore is a storage technology that is used as a special type of automatic small parts warehouse. The difference to a classic small parts warehouse lies in the structure of the Autostore. The containers are stacked on top of each other within the grid. Special pick robots travel above the grid and can access and pick the stored goods from there. Depending on the order volume, both the speed and the frequency can be individually adjusted. Since the Autostore completely eliminates tramlines, the space saved can be supplemented by additional effectively usable storage area, thus increasing the storage possibilities to a maximum.
Further advantages of an Autostore system are the flexible expansion options and the all-day operation possibilities. Bins in three different heights can be used for the Autostore, each bin can be divided into a maximum of 32 compartments, currently the maximum load weight of a bin is 30kg.
