High-bay warehouse

A high-bay warehouse is a warehouse with a minimum height of 12 meters. For safety reasons, the maximum height of a high-bay warehouse is currently limited to 50 meters. The minimum height of 12 meters makes it space-saving, efficient and the volume of the warehouse can be used optimally. In most cases, high-bay warehouses have a fully automated storage system. With the help of a stacker crane, the goods are controlled and stored within the racks.
A high bay warehouse consists of different zones, the storage area, the retrieval area and the storage area. This enables the logistic operation.
Since the majority of all high-bay warehouses have fully automated software and are connected to various warehouse automation systems, which in turn have special conveyor technology, this saves the service provider labor and personnel costs.
