Efficiency increase at the highest level: AXRO relies on AM Logistic Solutions for the installation of an Autostore system.

AM Logistic Solutions is pleased to announce the signing of a contract for the installation of an Autostore system with the renowned company AXRO in Hamburg. 

The implementation of this project will start shortly and completion is scheduled for early autumn this year.  AXRO is one of the leading international distributors of original consumables and hardware, including ink, toner, monitors, headsets and webcams, is headquartered in Hamburg and has been known for the highest reliability, quality and strong customer focus for more than 30 years.

AutoStore is a technological masterpiece in material flow automation. This automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS), harnesses the power of warehouse robots for 24/7 order fulfillment within a cubic layout so dense it can actually quadruple storage capacity and unlock the true potential of storage floorspace.

The AutoStore will have a capacity of 3.500 totes, which will initially be served by a total of 6 RedLine R5 high-performance robots. In addition, the system will have two carousel ports and one conveyor port to ensure a smooth material flow.

This project represents an important step in the further development of intralogistics at AXRO and underlines the innovative strength of AM Logistic Solutions in the field of automation technology.

Due to the tremendous growth of AXRO Logistics in a very short period of time, AM Logistic Solutions and AXRO are also currently negotiating a possible expansion of the Autostore facility.
