Sweet Success: World of Sweets chooses AM Logistic Solutions

Another milestone in food logistics: World of Sweets has chosen AM Logistic Solutions as its partner for the implementation of a state-of-the-art AutoStore system – including Sereact robot picking and controlled by our proven LogiCS middleware.

World of Sweets GmbH, founded in 2004, is headquartered in Henstedt-Ulzburg (Schleswig-Holstein) and operates one of the most comprehensive online platforms for sweets, snacks and beverages in Europe. With more than 10,000 different items, the company supplies both end consumers and business customers with national and international brands such as Haribo and Hershey’s.

Project scope and Technical Highlights

AM Logistic Solutions was commissioned to plan and implement a high-performance system. It is scalable and will secure the logistical basis for the coming years.

The planned solution includes:

  • AutoStore system with 40.000 bins
  • 35 R5 robots, with a seasonal rental option for up to 12 additional robots
  • 6 CarouselPorts for efficient manual picking
  • 3 × 3 ConveyorPorts, each connected to a Sereact robot cell
  • Pick-by-light system at the CarouselPorts for precise visual guidance
  • LogiCS as warehouse control system (WCS) for seamless control of AutoStore and robot picking

Installation will begin after Easter 2026, with Go-Live scheduled for early August 2026

The automation of the warehouse in Henstedt-Ulzburg is a decisive step for World of Sweets. It strengthens the company’s logistical base and enables further growth, even in the international environment.

AM Logistic Solutions is thus impressively underlining its position as a partner for future-oriented projects in food logistics.
