Benelux Coldstore Knowledge & Networking Day

Reesink Logistic Solutions, in collaboration with Isocab and Wagner, hosted the Benelux Coldstore Knowledge & Networking Day. The event took place at a truly unique location: the brand-new, fully automated freezer warehouse The ColdHub in Dordrecht. A day fully dedicated to knowledge sharing, innovation and meaningful networking.

A closer look at a future-proof coldstore warehouse

The ColdHub is a highly advanced goods-to-person freezer warehouse and serves as a leading reference for modern intralogistics solutions in temperature-controlled environments. The combination of automated storage systems, efficient material handling and advanced technologies makes this facility a highly relevant case for companies developing future-proof coldstore concepts.

During the event, guests were among the first to experience an in-depth tour of the warehouse, including insights into:

• Internal logistics and automation
• The refrigeration machine room and cold technology
• Fire protection and risk mitigation, including Wagner OxyReduct and aspirating smoke detection

Inspiring speakers and valuable insights

The content-driven programme offered a broad perspective on the design, safety and automation of coldstore facilities. Presentations included:

• FM Approvals on risks and standards in cold storage applications
• Building Revolution on sustainable and future-proof construction in the food industry
• Logflow on common pitfalls in freezer warehouse automation

Together, these sessions provided both technical insights and strategic guidance for investment and design decisions.

Networking in and around Dordrecht

In addition to the knowledge sessions, the programme offered ample opportunity for networking. The day concluded with a guided city walk through Dordrecht followed by dinner at B&S, allowing participants to exchange experiences and ideas in an informal setting
